Piano lessons should be enjoyable and productive, not dull and isolated.

Too often piano students feel isolated from the world as they go to lessons by themselves, practice by themselves, and probably perform at a recital where they know few if any of the other students who are playing. By putting our students into small groups at the beginning levels they have a chance to share the learning experience with others. It ends up being much more enjoyable for all concerned. It is our goal to provide our students with a musical experience that they will enjoy—then it is something that will stay with them for the rest of their lives instead of being dropped at the first opportunity.

We introduce the new way of learning piano.

Our program incorporates interactive classes and friendly atmosphere where students enjoy learning piano techniques and meet new people of the same interests. The philosophy of the school is to teach students how to enjoy piano learning process.

Our unique and innovative piano method allows us to teach students at faster pace while also motivating them and developing love of playing piano.

Students are taught sight reading, ear training and other subjects in a pleasant and supportive atmosphere.

Group lessons are not only more fun but they are also more affordable. We offer multilevel fees so that those who enroll with friends or family receive discounts.

Our Proven Method of Teaching

  • The first “step” is a thorough understanding of playing/counting rhythm. We believe that rhythm is the foundation upon which all music is built. Too often, rhythm is the weakest element of a piano method!
  • The second step is exploring and understanding the keyboard. This means being able to find keys on the keyboard without looking at one’s hands so that one can later sight-read.
  • The third and most difficult of the three steps is staff note reading. Staff note reading involves abstract reasoning and is the reason too-young students cannot read notes and resort to reading fingering numbers in those “other” methods.

Changing Lives through Music

Creating music is one of life’s greatest joys. Piano4Everyone believes that children who study piano are better equipped mentally for their challenges in school and other activities. Adults who learn to play the piano simply live happier. The adult student population is the fastest growing student group in the country. We believe that making music for the recreational adult hobbyist should be both fun and relaxing. The goal of Piano4Everyone is Changing Lives Through Music with a New Way of Learning Piano.

We realize you have a choice between several different music schools in the Los Angeles area. We invite you to compare all of the features and options to see why our school has been chosen more than any other music school in Los Angeles.

Here are 10 reasons you should sign up for piano lessons!

1 – Improves Hand-Eye Coordination – Looking at a piece of music and being able to play it with your hands can help with sports and other day to day activities

2 - Relieves Stress – Listening to music has so many benefits but when you are making the music yourself, it is even more therapeutic!

3 – Make Money Teaching – Pianos will be around until the end of the world, so learning now can leave you with a lifelong talent!  It has been so nice to have something to fall back on when I need a few extra dollars each month.  You can teach out of your home, at a studio, or teach private lessons in the student’s home.

4 – Build Self-Confidence! – Performing in recitals and even for your teacher can help anyone become more confident!  I am ridiculously afraid of speaking in public, but don’t get nervous when I have to play the piano just because I have done it so many times.

5 - It Can Help You Learn Any Other Instrument - Because the piano uses rhythm, bass clef, and treble clef, it is a thousand times more easy to learn any other instrument!  Once you know the basics, it is just a matter of figuring out how to play the strings, buttons or keys.  I learned the harp, guitar, cello and saxophone after learning the piano.

6 – Lifelong Talent – Piano is a talent that you can use for the rest of your life!  Sports, video games, and other hobbies usually come and go (depending on age and ability), but most people are able to play the piano into their 80s!

7 – Uses Both Sides of the Brain – When you play the piano you are usually using both hands while also listening, and watching the music.  Studies have also shown that musicians tend to have higher IQs than non-musicians.

8 – Your Kids Will Thank You (someday) – I have never met an adult that said, “Man, I really wish my parents hadn’t made me take piano lessons.”  Have you?

9 – Passing on a Skill – By teaching your kids to play you are giving them a skill that can actually save them thousands of dollars in the future!  If they learn to play the piano, they will be able to teach their own kids instead of paying for lessons!  I know kids always listen to “non-parents” more, but you are at least giving them the opportunity.

10 – It Is SO Much Fun! –  I haven’t always thought that, but I genuinely enjoy playing the piano now.  When I am at work and my students don’t show up, I will pull a bunch of pieces from the shelf and play until my next student gets there.  It is so relaxing and rejuvenating!   I am not a huge classical music fan…I like playing Bruno Mars, Fun., Coldplay and pretty much anything on the radio that has a melody!

I hope this was somewhat helpful!  If you can think of any other fantastic ideas about why your kids should take piano lessons let me know!
